EUFOBIA – Nightmarish outbursts

 proudly presents:

Nightmarish outbursts

The memorable name of these Bulgarian MELODIC THRASH DEATH METAL command is of ancient Greek origin and literally means „fear of good“.

EUFOBIA was founded 2003 and no band member has ever been replaced since, which is pretty rare to find nowadays.

These musicians are in any case a very own formation. The emphasized independent, intense sound of EUFOBIA is just as individual as interesting structured and full of variety, even in the abysmal, manic emotional passages. Every song by the guys therefore can stand completely for itself.

So far EUFOBIA have performed live more than 180 (!) times and shared the stage with well known acts such as Arch Enemy, Dark Tranquillity, Rotting Christ, Kreator, Vader, Immolation, Onslaught, Malevolent Creation, Pyogenesis, Gorgoroth, Sinister, Broken Hope, Dragonforce, Eluveitie, Keep Of Kalessin, E-force, Negura Bunget, Suicidal Angels, as well as with many fellow underground ones.

Recently the musically and lyrically hard biting genre-hopefuls from the city of Sofia published their newest music video for the song „Graveyard“:

„Graveyard“ is taken out of their third, self-titled album „Eufobia“, which has been published in November 2016.

Currently, EUFOBIA are writing new songs for the fourth album, which is expected to be released early 2018.

DESDEMONIA – Immense power, highest pressure

 proudly presents:

Immense power, highest pressure

Take old school Death Metal, add a healthy dose of rocking groove, a pinch of Thrash fury and round it up with a lot of fine melody… and you’ll get the extremely powerful essence of Luxembourg’s DESDEMONIA:

Hardly on the heavy ball since 1994, lie lots of efforts and experiences meanwhile behind these guys. „Existence“, their third full-length output, showed the band’s many abilities and skills in 2010. Since then DESDEMONIA wrote some new, truly blasting songs.

Currently the fit formation is looking for a suitable label partner for the finished fourth longplayer.

The newest album monster has been mixed and mastered by no lesser than Fredrik Nordström at FREDMANN Studios, Gothenburg, Sweden (At The Gates, Arch Enemy, In Flames, Architects, Hammerfall)

KINGS WILL FALL – Vierköpfiger Aufstand

INCURSED – Traditional affinity

 proudly presents:

Traditional affinity

In 2014 they delighted the fans of melodic emphasized EPIC VIKING METAL with their acclaimed album „Elderslied“.

Now the Basque masters INCURSED return with a remarkably fine EP, which can optimally represent the typical style of the playful band.

Officially, „The Slavic Covenant“ was released on July 31, 2017.

This EP serves as a harbinger for the upcoming studio album „Amalur“, which was funded by the band with a crowdfunding campaign. The official release of „Amalur“ will be announced in time.

The five mercurial compositions on „The Slavic Covenant“, including the equally surprising and original done A-ha cover of the chartbreaker „Take On Me“, show a completely unused and persistently hungry formation. INCURSED also free up massive energy spills in 2017!

For the song Fear A‘ Bhata“, INCURSED adapted the musical basic theme of a Gaelic folkloric song from the late 18th century. The refrain is presented in original language.

The modified band logo – in Cyrillic spelling – on „The Slavic Covenant“ is a courageous tribute of the crafty Basque bunch to a Ukraine tour, which has been remembered as a wonderful experience.

„With this small appetizer we were left with the desire to hear the album „Amalur“ in full. If it sounds half as good as these four advances we can find a chant in our teeth.“
(Larry Runner)

„… a new work very accomplished and full of strength …“

„In short, a very complete EP, with good clues of what awaits us with ‚Amalur‘, with improvements in production … I look forward to hearing the new LP in full.“

„… a good ration of energy, strength and power in abundance. … we can not ignore the voice, which sounds sovereign and hard, bringing more intensity … I encourage you to listen to ‚The Slavic Covenant‘, it will not disappoint you.“

MEDIA FEEDBACK „Takk Og Farvel; Tida Er Blitt Ei Annen“:

10 / 10
“… very hard to pick some tracks that are standing out from the rest of the album which is so compact and strong as this one is … I am sad because we will not hear anything new from MYRKGRAV in the future, but one is for sure – MYRKGRAV has finished their story the best they could – with one of the best Folk Metal albums that I’ve ever heard …”
(Celtic – Slavic Webzine Serbia)

10 / 10
“What I especially enjoyed in this record and also in Myrkgrav’s music in general is this contrast between the instrumental sound and the extreme side of Metal and we get to hear this combination really well throughout the record … for the lovers of the folk-ish side of the genre, the instrumental songs will be definitely earcandy whereas the lovers of the Black and extreme Metal will enjoy the harsher songs more.”
(Melody Of The Soul)

10 / 10
“… this album must be heard!”
(Der Hörspiegel)

9,5 / 10
“I’m sure there are tons more but if I had to put a list of bands that everyone should know about and probably don’t, Norway’s Myrkgrav would most likely be at the top of my list … I am crossing my fingers that 10 years from now maybe you will revisit some of these tracks? I will keep the torch lit in the meantime… great album.”

90 / 100
“We are very happy with MYRKGRAV … the songs are very entertaining … a fusion of Scandinavian Folk music and extreme Metal … the lyrics of the Folk story out of the medieval period are very strong in all the songs …”
(Rhybuck Zine)

90 / 100
“… a fantastic album in its own right and its greater than the sum of its parts. Lars Jensen is a master of his craft and should not be overlooked.”
(Metal Archives)

9 / 10
“The mix between the instruments and the Nordic tradition is fantastic which makes this second and probably final album a must for fans of Folk / Viking Metal.”
(World Of Metal Radio)

9 / 10
“… perfect blend between Folk and Metal, much more appealing than just adding folk instruments to Metal songs. In some parts it reminds me on Falkenbach or Windir … 14 songs, 64 minutes, there are no weak parts, just pleasure for our audition.”
(Sounds From Apocalypse)

9 / 10
“… instrumentally well achieved … execution is flawless and the suitable choice of the Hardanger elevates the compositions to another creativity level … balanced and diversified, combining heavy, progressive and atmospheric sonorities … doesn’t spare any folk motifs, slightly resembling the unique style of the Norwegian band Windir.”
(The Black Planet)

4 / 5 – great
(Deep Ground)

4 / 5
“… a nice package farewell to an artist who has traveled more muted in sounds halfway between Falkenbach and Otyg, to the now inflated Folk Metal roots. Many thanks to the courage of Lars Jensen, who from the small town of Åsa tried to guess the road of the musician and it has finally come out with grace and undoubted class.”

VIRTUAL SYMMETRY – Through time and space

 proudly presents:

Through time and space

With exquisite influences from the areas of ambient, fusion, pop and contemporary music, these men of taste enrich their multi-faceted PROGRESSIVE METAL sound since their start in 2009.

Singer Marco Pastorino and his bandmates focus mainly on romantic melodies, surreal atmospheres and chasing rhythms.

The futuristically accentuated mixture of the Milan quintet gets rounded off by suggestive backgrounds in the emphasized harmonious soundframe.

Guitarist and band founder Valerio Æsir Villa is not only a multi-instrumentalist, he also works out the ideas for the songwriting of VIRTUAL SYMMETRY. This way of proceeding was already proven for the 2016 debut album „Message From Eternity“.

And to their previous release, VIRTUAL SYMMETRY now tie up with the rich EP „X-Gate“.
This new EP is also dominated by all the characteristic contrasting elements that make up the epic face of the completely thought-out songs, which partly take longer time.

With skillfully sharpened, but far-reaching, cinematic mood-sheets, the passionate Italian visionaries paint their tracks on the new 3-tracker.

These songs were composed with a special emphasis on a equal balance between melody and technique, in order to take the listeners on an exciting journey between varied dynamics and touching emotions.

With her wonderfully sensitive, seamlessly integrated vocals, 19-year-old Diane Lee, who sings mainly in the Swiss act Lost Journey, ensures highly moody, dreamy moments.

VIRTUAL SYMMETRY cite on „X-Gate“ world-famous giants such as Dream Theater, Fates Warning, and Evanescence with the same independent devotion and love, as the band also pay homage to the respected work of exceptional musicians like Joe Satriani and Steve Vai.

The fact that despite the extensive musical range and the complex arrangements everything ultimately sounds like a single cast is the merit of the huge joy of the five-piece in liquid structures, finest details and accessible homogeneity.

Official release of „X-Gate“: June 30th, 2017.

5 / 5

9 / 10
„… half hour of well-felt, well-written and undoubtedly well-sounding music.“
(Giornale Metal)

(Metal Utopia)

8,8 / 10
„Another beautiful band from Italy … listen without any restraint!“
(Metal Samsara)

8,5 / 10
„The excellent writing of guitarist Valerio „Æsir“ Villa, bassist Alessandro Poppale („Alchymera“) and keyboardist Mark Bravi („Elevate“, together with Villa) allows the three songs to flow in natural perfection …“

8,5 / 10
„… dramatic, epic and melancholic, emphasized by the warm voice of the nineteen-year-old Diane Lee … ‚X-Gate‘ is a must-have for lovers of Fates Warning, Royal Hunt or Queensrÿche … and for those who want to immerse themselves in an articulated and enveloping sound pattern.“
(Through The Black Hole)

8,2 / 10
„… captures, kidnaps, hypnotizes as in the best progressive tradition … remarkable work …“
(In Your Eyes)

80 / 100
„… a little gem inside the Progressive Metal underground scene in Italy … Dream Theater is therefore the main inspirational muse … a journey through intricate melodic and instrumental passages …“
(Antonio Moliterni)

80 / 100
„An exceptional rhythm section supports the hard riffs (we’ve heard a lot of Symphony X apparently) … we’ve written so much for a ’simple‘ EP, but here’s so much to hear and listen to.“
(Loud And Proud)

78 / 100
„… great goal of VIRTUAL SYMMETRY … certainly, the originality of groups like Dream Theater, Masterplan or Persephone gets underpinned.“
(Insane Voices Labirynth)

7 / 10
„X-Gate“ is a really exciting and surprisingly varied EP, on which the Italian Quintett proves its technical skills and guitarist Valerio Æsir Villa shows his songwriting arts. Pleasantly multi-layered, powerful and atmospheric, and easy to carry the listener along. “
(Der Hörspiegel)

3,5 / 5
„… promises a lot for the future of VIRTUAL SYMMETRY, these musicians are extremely talented and good at that they do. The music is incredibly cinematic as well, I like that they tried to add so many influences and turned that into their own sound.“
(Lyrical Spell)

„… high-quality Progressive Metal that does not sound old-fashioned, trendy or cheesy. Complex, independent, sophisticated …“
(Crossfire Metal)

„… it shows depth, merging the technical complexity of Fates Warning, the surreal atmosphere of Dream Theater, the emotion of Evanescence, the mystery of Queensrÿche and the theatrical cleverness of Rush.“
(Dave Wolff – Autoeroticasphyxium Zine)

„… features a perfect blend between aggression and kindness, heavyness and melody, so a everything Metal is all about. And there goes ‚X-Gate‘, sometimes more prog than heavy, sometimes more heavy than prog, but always daring and satisfying.“
(Metal Addicts)

„Leaning in technology, science-fiction, and philosophy for the words, the music takes the Dream Theater/Fates Warning template and adds in pop, electronic, and fusion aspects to make for an engaging journey overall.“
(Dead Rhetoric)
